Madeline Gullett (she/her)
CERTIFICATION: POWER PILATES
Madeline is a Power Pilates certified instructor, versatile dancer, and the founder of SoHo Pilates. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Point Park University, Madeline returned home to Chicago where she completed her comprehensive certification through Power Pilates. After a year or so, she relocated to New York to continue dancing and teaching Pilates. She now lives with her partner Matt, and their two cats, Trixie and Neko, and is very excited and grateful to have the opportunity of running her own Pilates studio. -

Michael De Gautier (he/him)
CERTIFICATION: Lolita San Miguel Lineage
Michael is a former athlete and dancer who started doing Pilates when he was 18. After finishing his training in FL he eventually moved to NYC and began to study under two protégés of Kathi Ross Nash. After attending Columbia University, Michael began work at a corporate bank- he currently attends an acting conservatory here in NYC, while also writing scripts for TV & Film. As a Soho resident, when he’s not doing Pilates you’ll see him running around the neighborhood- trying to get a table at Raoul’s, going to lift or do yoga at Equinox, or just walking and romanticizing his favorite neighborhood.

Amber Lyons (she/her)
CERTIFICATION: Equinox / Barre Body
Amber Lyons is a certified Pilates instructor with a lifelong foundation in movement. With years of experience in the professional dance world, Amber brings a deep understanding of posture, balance, and embodied confidence to her classes. Her teaching style blends classical Pilates technique with fluid sequences that challenge the core, lengthen the body, and promote functional strength. Whether you’re just starting out or an experienced mover, her classes offer a mindful yet dynamic experience that helps you feel beautiful, strong, and aligned in your body and in your life!

Lo Abel (they/them)
CERTIFICATION: Core Pilates - Comprehensive Classical
Lo is a lifelong mover with experience in gymnastics, dance, theatre, and aerial arts. They first fell in love with Mat Pilates in 2017 while earning their BFA in Musical Theatre at UCF. Upon moving to Brooklyn in 2022, Lo discovered the power of the Reformer and earned their 600+ hour Comprehensive certification with Core Pilates. Lo values the healing and strengthening aspects that the Classical method offers to all bodies. Having struggled with nerve pain in their lumbar spine since adolescence, Lo uses Pilates to maintain a stable core and pain-free lower back! Get ready for grounded flow with Lo!

Finlay Doyle (she/her)
CERTIFICATION: Real Pilates
NYC native third-generation Pilates instructor with a background in ballet. I’m highly attentive to detail and love working with clients over time, whether that means building strong foundations from the ground up or challenging more experienced students as they continue to grow. Helping people better connect with their bodies and progress within the system is one of the most fulfilling parts of teaching for me.

Katie Armstrong
CERTIFICATION: Power Pilates
I believe Pilates is for everyone because it meets you exactly where you are. Movement has always been a huge part of my life. After years of training and performing as a professional dancer, I found Pilates as a way to build strength, prevent injury, and move with intention. I love helping clients discover what their bodies are capable of through sessions that are exploratory, challenging and fun!

Mia Rubenstein (she/her)
CERTIFICATION: EQX Comprehensive Teacher Training
Mia Rubenstein has received her 450+ Hour Classical Pilates Certification through Equinox, as well as a BFA in Dance and a minor in Art & Design from the University of Michigan. Her teaching is shaped by a dancer’s precision, creativity, and deep understanding of movement.

Maria Gardner (she/her)
CERTIFICATION: Basi
Maria Gardner is originally from Ohio and moved to NYC in 2015 to pursue her career as a contemporary dance artist. Pilates quickly became her favorite form of cross training and most consistent form of movement practice. This inspired her pivot from dance to delving deeper into functional fitness through BASI’s Comprehensive Certification program. She can’t wait to move with you!

Brigid Pittman
CERTIFICATION: Comprehensive Program at Core Pilates NYC
Pre-professional dancer turned Pilates teacher with 10+ years of movement experience. By day, Brigid works at Cherry Bombe; by class time, she’s here to challenge you, cheer you on, and remind you you’re stronger than you think. Her classes are supportive, a touch spicy, and designed to build stability, balance, and confidence.

With a background as an elementary school teacher, Toni brings a unique understanding of individualized learning and adaptive approaches to Pilates instruction. After years of supporting students' personal growth, Toni discovered Pilates as a means to nurture her own well-being and was captivated by its holistic benefits. Committed to deepening her knowledge and honing her teaching skills through hands-on experience, Toni is enthusiastic about supporting clients of all levels on their Pilates journey.

Andrea Mata (she/her)
CERTIFICATION: Power Pilates & Classical Pilates USA
I discovered Pilates in 2017 while looking for a way to improve my posture and flexibility after long hours working at a computer. I was immediately drawn to the structured mat and apparatus work and the focus on balanced strength, mindful movement, and body awareness. I’ve always loved movement, but Pilates holds a special place in my heart. It is intelligent, balanced, and beautifully structured, with everything we need to create lasting, positive change built into the method. I’m passionate about helping clients of all ages and experience levels build healthy movement patterns and deepen their connection through Pilates.

Tatiana’s teaching style is warm, personal and challenging. Her goal is to have you leave her sessions feeling stronger, more mobile and light both in body and spirit. When she’s not teaching, you can find her hanging out with her beagle, Charles, or spreading her wings on aerial silks/pole.
